28 isn't so bad...

Only 2 more years left of my 20's!! But my sweet friends, Abram, Jase, and David spoiled me well!  We had a little birthday celebration at work with lunch and a beautiful fruit tart. I got home and David snuck around and took the day off. He cleaned the house, cooked dinner, and made a little trip to Ulta for some Kate Spade perfume I had been wanting and we enjoyed some cookie cake!

Mother's Day

For Mother's Day, we took a little road trip to Tennessee to visit GiGi and lots of family!
We cooked a little steak dinner for GiGi's 85th birthday followed by a yummy Key Lime Pie!
Sunday, all of our favorites came to GiGi's and we had lots of good food and laughs. Always a good time when we get to see everyone. Abram had so much fun and didn't want to come home!

We stopped by Tallulah Gorge on the way home to get a little break out of the car and stretch our legs.

We had such a great time and always look forward to going back to visit everyone!

9 Months

Jase turned 9 months old on 4/26! He is weighing in at a whopping 24 lbs!! Boy loves to eat!

He has finally cut his 2 bottom teeth (and got an war infection in the process)! That was a rough few days! He loves to eat table food and could probably care less about a bottle. He is still not a crawler but somehow manages to get to whatever he is trying to get to. He gets into the crawling position but won't go anywhere. He loves his sleep (most of the time) and loves riding in his car outside. He likes to holler and squeal and loves smiling, and of course he is still a big momma's boy! He's a big ol' snuggle bug and loves his big brother more than his big brother realizes! I can't believe this guy will be one before we know it. They grow up so fast right before our eyes!

April Showers bring May flowers...

...and lots of pretty weather and sunshine!

The pretty weather also means that I can get David outside to build me a couple of projects I've been wanting to do.

I had this picture printed for Abram's birthday party and wanted to build a frame for it.

(It's a task trying to get this child to smile!)

And then we had an extra piece of wood laying around that I wanted David to cut in half so I could make this little sign. My painting skills aren't the best.

And then there's this mantel...

(before)

This came out of the house when we did the first round of remodeling and I have been wanting to refinish it. I only have the first coat of paint on it but I think it's going to look great when it's finished.

So, onto some much cuter pictures.
Jase thinks his big bro is the most hilarious little person ever!

and he's pretty partial to his puppy dog, too!

Chase turned 2 last weekend so we celebrated with him and had a little water party! All the boys had a blast!

We hope everyone is getting some sunshine and enjoying the spring weather!

Rain, Rain, Go Away!

For the past who even knows how many days/weeks, it has rained and rained and rained. I though for sure that eventually we were going to float away! And having a 3 year old cooped up inside for days on end is not a whole lot of fun! So we would play inside with every toy we own and play a little dress up.

When we got tired of playing with the same toys over and over...

and then Jase thought that he miiiight want to pull up on the table.

but it never happened.

And now that it has stopped raining, we are taking advantage of the fabulous spring weather! (and breathing in all that nasty pollen that comes with it!)
