Oh Christmas Tree

We had so much fun taking the kiddos to pick out a tree at the tree farm. It's no Clark Griswold tree but it's pretty dang good! 

The boys did a little trimming.

Aaannnddd Jase likes to take ornaments off.

And there it still lays on the floor....

And this guy CANNOT wait for Santa to make his rounds.

The Leaves Are Falling

The only good part about the leaves falling off the trees...

Rain, rain, go away!

The first part of November was pretty soggy here. Days and days of rain and 2 little boys are not a good combo! So off to the trampoline park we went with Abram.

Abram and David jumped their little hearts out! It's was a much needed day out of the house topped off with lunch at out favorite place, Chic Fil A!

We Have a Walker!

At almost 15 months, we have a walker!!!! My back is thanking him dearly!! This isn't the best video and he has gotten even better since we did this.

 

We Love Fall!

Once it finally quit raining and we dried out, the weather has been great! Rain for days is not good for toddlers and even worse for parents!

And don't dare try to take Jase off the Gator until he is good and ready to get off.

Talk about a temper!

 

 

Abram loves the help in the kitchen.

He was a good assistant making chocolate pudding with is NeNe.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 



Fun at the Fair

The fun (and interesting) fair came to town for a few days in September. Talk about some good people watching. We always try to go on Saturday afternoon for the matinee pricing and shorter lines. Abram is tall enough now to ride most of the rides.

 

He had so much fun! Jase cruised around in the stroller and took it all in! He was actually able to ride one thing...

 

 

 

I think he liked it! ;)

Gator Cruising

September 2015

Jase is finally big enough to cruise around on the Gator with Abram. And boy does he think it is great!

 

 

The weather has been perfect so we've been spending a lot of time outside!

 

 

And he has also discovered his love for Oreos.  Really just the Oreo cream!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Abram the Chicken Farmer

Abram is now a little chicken farmer. He has 4 hens...Lenny, Penny, Henny, and Jenny. (Original, huh?)

 

David built a sweet little coop for them.

 

 

But the knuckleheads don't get in it when its raining and they roost on top of it at night. Hey, whatever makes them happy!

 

Abram has his chicken chores that he has to do daily. Pretty easy for a 3 year old - check their feed, check their water, and check for eggs.

 

 

We got them when there were around 15-16 weeks. Two of them just started laying so we are waiting on the other 2 to start earning their keep.

 

 

Abram was able to catch them when we first got them but I think they caught on to our tricks and now there are nearly impossible to catch.

 

 

So, if you're interested in some eggs, I've got just the little guy for ya!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Jase Harris is ONE!

I cannot believe how fast this year has gone by. It feels like yesterday we were heading to the hospital to have a baby!

We started the day with a birthday breakfast, one of his favorites, orange cinnamon rolls topped off with a candle of course!

 

We had a little birthday get together to celebrate his day!

Cooked some hamburgers and hot dogs on the grill, ate too much cake and ice cream and cookies to take home!

 

 

Jase had his own little smash cake and I'm pretty sure it's safe to say that he thoroughly enjoyed it!

 

 

 

And then he headed straight to the bath tub.

 

He wasn't too interested in opening presents but he got some good stuff.

 

 

Abram, Deizel and Chase had a good time celebrating too.

 

 

Happy birthday Jase Harris. You are such a fun, sweet and feisty little guy.  A big ol' momma's boy that is attached to my hip. You have taught us a whole new meaning to the word patience! You are one determined little boy and I hope you keep that determination as you grow older. I love watching you grow and change but I wish the time would slow down. We love you so much! HAPPY FRIST BIRTHDAY!
