Ready for Warmer Weather

January....such a boring month. The weather is terrible, therefore we can't go outside and there is only so much you can do inside.

Auburn has the right idea.

We did get lucky and have a day of warmer temps so we took full advantage!

And the days where is it either too cold, rainy, or extremely windy, we get lots of snuggles in.

Coming up...
Two sick boys and 6 months of Jase Harris!

Happy New Year

Happy New Year from us Gentrys. We hope 2014 treated you well and that 2015 is even better!! Here is a quick review of our 2014! It was such a great year!

We went and blew a few bucks on some fireworks for Abram. Worth every penny. He thought they were great!

New Years Day was basically just a day full of shenanigans. We hung around the house. David took Abram squirrel hunting around the house and this is what he walks INTO the house with...

Boys will be boys.

And then there was the sweetness overload. So I can't really complain about him bringing the bird into the house to show me.

It was a "stay in your PJ's all day" kind of day for me. Nothing too exciting which is just the way we like it around here!

We hope 2015 treats everyone well!!

5 Months Old

Jase turned 5 months on December 26th! I know I say this in every. single. monthly update of him, but time is flying. And I think it goes by even faster when you have 2 little ones, I'm not sure, but I don't like it. Jase had is 4 month check up at the beginning of December and weighed 17.7 pounds. He's quite the chunker!

He has started eating some baby food and it is a challenge to say the least. Between every messy bite, he wants to stick his hands in his mouth.

Jase won this one!
I'm not too sure he was a fan of the peas but I can't say that I blame him!

I hope these two get along like this forever! Wishful thinking.

I will leave you with one last, extra sweet, irresistible pictured...

A Very Merry Christmas!!

We had a Very Merry Christmas and we hope you and yours did too! Christmas was extra fun this year with Abram being 2. He is at the age where he sort of, kind of understands who Santa Clause is. I think next year he will really get it. We celebrated Christmas with Mimi and Poppa and the Griffins the weekend before. The boys all enjoyed all of their gifts they got from everyone.

These two couldn't wait any longer to see what they got!

Then we celebrated Christmas with Nene, Pop, and Tonya on Christmas Eve. The boys got even more toys but they love them all since it's something new and not those same ole toys they've been playing with for months. Every time Abram said he wanted something, I told him he would have to see if Santa would bring it to him. I think I started telling him that back in the summer!. ;)

I think this will be his Halloween costume this year!

After we opened presents with them, we had to go home and get ready for Santa.
I was off Christmas Eve so Abram baked some sugar cookies. They made reindeer food at Regina's and we set out a cup of milk, Santa's favorite!

I would say that Santa was pretty good to Abram this year. He must have been extra sweet!!

His dream car pedal tractor!

We are now replenished with new toys. Such a fun Christmas 2014! Can't wait for Christmas this year when Jase will be 1 1/2 and Abram will be 3!!

And here are some other extra Christmas outtakes for your entertainment.

Thank you to Google for putting this in a mini slide show to show the process of this incredible photo shoot!

And of course it's always a good time to get a little fancied up for a Christmas Party!
