While we wait for Spring...

So while we are waiting for Spring and warmer weather, this is what we've been doing...

 

And that is just about it!

 

I also created and email address for both of the boys. If you think about it, by the time they are old enough for email, will there be anymore email addresses available that have their names in them?

I also did it so that if you ever want to send one of them an email for them to look back and read when they are a bit older, you can. Weather it's a chain email that they may look back at or a little note you want to send to them for Christmas or birthday.

Yes, I'm that cheesy mom! Hopefully one day they will look back at all of this and appreciate the memories. :)

Valentines Day

Our Valentines Day consisted of staying in our PJ's all day long and just hanging around the house. The weather has been chilly and is was crazy windy!

Abram and Jase had a little Valentine's party with their friends at Ms. Gina's. We sent goodie bags with teddy grahams, valentine colored M&M's, and chocolate covered strawberry flavored marshmallows. The mix was a big hit at our house. Abram and Jase got some cute cookies that were paintable so we painted those on Saturday. I got to paint and eat Jase's for him! ;)

 

 

We cooked a yummy steak dinner and just hung around the rest of the night with my sweet little valentines!

Happy 1/2 Birthday, Jase Harris!

It's so hard to believe that this little peanut is 1/2 a year old. The past 6 months have flown by. It's amazing how quickly they change and grow. Jase started out his 1/2 birthday with an ear infection and Abram had strep throat at the same time. That landed both of them at the doctors office. Double doosie!! So they started antibiotics and only got worse as the week went on. Finally, by the weekend, Abram was feeling better and Jase started feeling better on Sunday.

Jase weighs in at a whopping 20.7 pounds. He is sitting up and thinks that Abram and Auburn are hilarious (most of the time). He is eating a wide variety of pureed foods and would rather have that than a bottle. He slept swaddled until he was 6 months and how on earth he still fit in the thing is beyond me!! He slept so good swaddled but it was time to break the habit. So of course, the week he is sick we took him out of the swaddle...not the best idea but he did do a lot better than I expected. I think he is ready to be on the move but he hasn't quite figured out how to get going.

The past 6 months have been so much fun with 2 boys. Of course there are bad days, but they are definitely out numbered by the good ones!

Happy 1/2 birthday to our sweet red headed boy! I can't wait to watch you grow!!!
